Apple invented a new material that hides your iPhone’s antenna lines

I am not a big fan of the lines on the back of the new iPhones but seems that Apple is not a big fan either. A new rumor suggests that Apple has invented a new material that looks like anodized metal but allows wireless signals to pass through.  If this is the case, you will get a cleaner and better looking iPhone with not ‘separating’ – signal lines on the back. The company is rumored to have filed for a patent for this material. This might be the beginning of something new for Apple as this material might be used for Trackpads on Macbooks as well.

The company have filed a lot of patents in the pasts that we have not even seen in the shipping devices. We should wait and see whether or not the folks at 1 Infinite Loop will use this material in shipping devices. After all, it will be nice to have a metal unibody iPhone without the lines or a Macbook with no visible trackpad!
