Apple’s ‘Hey Siri’ feature recognises your voice

Apple just released the first public beta for iOS 9.1 and somewhere in the settings the company added the new ‘Hey Siri’ feature.

Although unconfirmed by the company the new feature suggests that Siri will be able to recognise specific user voices and determine whether or not you are the owner of the iPhone. Apple is trying to find new security measures to increase the iPhone security.

You can find the feature in General > Siri > Allow ‘Hey Siri’ . To set up the feature the iPhone will ask you to say some specific words and phrases so the device can analyse your voice. I tried it and I can say that it doesn’t seem to work every single time but the feature looks very promising.
