Asus announces the VivoStick PC

Asus just announced its first ‘compute stick’, the VivoStick PC.

The first sticks to arrive in the market came from Intel and used a Bay Trail-T SoC. Asus’s VivoStick comes with the 14nm Cherry Trail platform and unlike Intel’s Stick, the VivoStick appears to have a sleeker design. Additionally, the VivoStick has an extra USB 3.0 port and headphone jack while having the same 2GB RAM and 32GB storage as Intel’s Stick.

Asus did not announce any availability dates, but did indicate that the Compute Stick will carry the price tag of $129.
