BlackBerry Venice photos leaked, showing Android and QWERTY keyboard

New photos showing the long-rumored BlackBerry Venice surfaced.

The photos are in-line with earlier leaks and rumors suggesting an Android-powered device with a slide-out physical QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard carries the traditional BlackBerry sculpted design.

On the back of the device you can find the 16MP sensor with optical image stabilisation, fast focus together with two individual LED flash modules.

On the side of the device you can see the two longer volume buttons, separated by the BlackBerry shortcut button which usually launches BlackBerry Assistant,  company’s answer to Siri, Google Now and Cortana.  Judging from the design of the smartphone and the fact it has (on the top of the device) external SIM and SD card trays, we assume that the device will have a non-removable battery and rear cover, as it is on BlackBerry’s Passport and Classic devices.
