Facebook has a new logo, can you spot the difference?

Facebook has revealed its new logo on a Tweet.

Facebook’s product designer Christophe Tauziet, has revealed the company’s new logo on Twitter. The logo was printed on a cloth that seems to be a rolled up t-shirt.

There aren’t any major differences between the new logo and its predecessor. The most visible one is the shape of letter ‘a’ and also the space between the letters. The logo, even though it is not much different,  seems cleaner, crisper and more appealing to the eye.

So there is a new logo but what is all about? The Wall Street Journal claims it’s about optimizing the look of the logo for mobile devices. There were roughly 798 million mobile daily active users on average for March 2015, according to Facebook and this is enough for Facebook to redesign its logo.
