Here are five Samsung Galaxy S8 features we expect to see in iPhone 8

122Samsung has just launched its highly-anticipated smartphones, Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. This year, the South Korean smartphone maker has really expanded the usefulness just beyond our expectations. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus come with innovative features and stunning design, making the pair among the most desired smartphones this year.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be a tough competitor that challenges Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8 this year thanks to its compelling features. There are a lot of things we are expecting to see in the iPhone 8 ranging from wireless charging to bezel-less design.

In this post, we will walk you through five Samsung Galaxy S8 features we are expecting to see in the iPhone 8.

  1. Bezel-less display

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus includes infinity displays with no visual bezels on the sides. The pair may be the first smartphones to come with no Samsung logo on the front. Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8 has long been rumored to come with edge-to-edge OLED display that includes an integrated Touch ID and front-facing camera.

  1. Virtual home button

The new Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with always-on home button, meaning that the home button is always visible. Besides, the S8 and S8 Plus also includes an option that allows you to skip the lock screen and go straight to the home screen.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8 has long been rumored to come with no physical home button. With various contradictory rumors, it’s early to claim that iPhone 8 will feature a virtual home button, but this is something we are expecting to see from Apple this year.

  1. Wireless charging

Wireless charging is not a new concept, as it has existed on Android devices for a while. In reality, the iPhone 7/7 Plus had been rumored to come with wireless charging, but it didn’t pan out.  Apple is expected to include wireless charging on the next iPhone this year, which may bringthe device in line with top-tier Android-based smartphones.

  1. Fast charging

Fast charging is one of the most innovative technologies we have ever seen in recent years. Fast charging gives your phone 50 percent of battery life after charging for just 5 minutes. With the iPhone 8 rumored to become thinner and lighter, fast charging serves as the best way to deal with battery drain issue.

  1. Iris and face scanning

The Samsung Galaxy S8 includes a much-enhanced face scanning feature. All you need to do is to put your phone up in a way that the camera can recognize your face to unlock your phone. This is really something we’d like to see in the iPhone 8 this year, so let’s wait and see later this year.
