Here is how to enable Google Pixel’s LED notification light

This year, Google unveiled two new Pixel-branded smartphones, Pixel and Pixel XL, which are considered as a replacement for the Nexus line. Google’s decision to kill Nexus range may disappoint some users, but we now have Pixel and Pixel XL with premium design, something that we have never seen on the current Nexus phones.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL include many new features that are worth every penny, and many of them are exclusive ranging from DayDream VR support to Google Assistant, a new Google’s virtual helper.

Ambient Mode is a nice feature that lights up your screen when notifications come in, however, it is also power-consuming. Luckily, Google is probably aware that Ambien Display is not for everyone, seeing that the Company has added a notification LED to its Pixel-branded phones. However, it is hidden into the far left side of the loudspeaker of the phone, and it is not enabled by default, of course.

Before we get started, we will walk you through Google Pixel’s exclusive features

  1. Pixel Launcher

With the introduction of the Pixel phones, Google has officially introduced a brand new launcher, named Pixel Launcher, a noticeable upgrade to the Google Now launcher, which is exclusive to the Google Pixel phones. The new Pixel launcher sports a redesigned pull-up app drawer, round icons, and a new search bar widget, but Google Now can still be access by performing a swipe to the right.

  1. Google Assistant

Google Assistant is undoubtedly the best Pixel’s selling point. You can access Google Assistant with your voice or via the home button of your phone. Google’s virtual AI helper is now more powerful and useful, as it can understand contexts and gives you relevant answers. Besides, Google Assistant can scan your personal data to find what you are looking for, learn from you and much more.

  1. Unlimited Google Photos storage

With the Pixel and Pixel XL, Google is turning itself into a natural home for all your photos and videos. This year, Google offers unlimited storage Google Drive for photos and videos you have taken with Google Pixel phones.

These are three Google Pixel’s exclusive features, and make sure that you make the most of them.
