  1. How to make Microsoft Edge your default web browser

If you are using a different web browser, chances that you have made it your default web browser, so you need to change the settings back. Here is how you do it

Step one: Launch the Settings on your computer and click on System

Step two: Once you are done, select Default apps and select Microsoft Edge under “Web Browser” section

  1. How to customize the Start Page 

You will be welcome by the Start Page every time you open Microsoft Edge by default. You will be presented with the search box, top sites, and curated news. If you find all of those annoying, you can easily customize your Start Page with some simple steps.

Step one : Launch Microsoft Edge on your computer and click the three-dotted menu button at the top right corner of the screen and select Settings from the drop-down menu

Step two: Under “Open Microsoft Edge with” section, select your option. You will be presented with four options including start Page, new tab page, previous page and a specific page or pages.

  • Previous page: This option allows you to catch up with where you left off after restarting your web browser
  • A specific page or pages: This option allows you to manually enter one or multiple URLs for your favorite websites you want to load when you open the web browser

Microsoft Edge allows you customize what you want to see when you open a new tab with three options. Here is how you do it:

Step one: Open Microsoft Edge on your computer and click the three-dotted menu button

Step two: Click Settings and click “Open new tabs with” section. After that, you will be presented with three basic options including top sites and suggested content, top sites and a blank page.

  1. How to import your data from a different web browser

Microsoft Edge allows you to easily transfer your favorite bookmarks from the major web browsers including Google Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer

Step one: Open Microsoft Edge on your computer and click the three-dotted menu. After that, click Settings to proceed

Step two: Click the View favorite settings button and select your web browser that you wish to import from including Firefox, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer

Step three: All you have to do now is to click Import and let the transfer process begin
