Recording the iPhone screen won’t be very easy at all unless you jailbreak your device. On the other hand, even if you jailbreak the device, you will find it dissatisfying with the video you just recorded. However, you can easily do this if you own a Mac, and all you need is the QuickTime Player app, a USB cable, and a device running iOS 8 or higher.
Now, here are the steps you should follow:
Step 1: Connect your iPhone/iPad to the Mac with a USB cable.
Step 2: Launch QuickTime Player app.
Step 3: Go to the File menu and select New Movie Recording.
Step 4: You will now see the Movie Recording screen. Notice the little arrow next to the red record button. Just tap it.
Step 5: The drop-down menu will offer you the options. Your iPhone is listed here. Select it that is listed under Camera as well as Microphone if you want to record audio from your iPhone.
Step 6: Now notice that the Movie Recording screen turn into the iPhone/iPad touch screen. Just get started recording your iPhone/iPad screen by clicking the red Record button. You can also resize the recording window and there won’t be any effect on the quality or resolution of the video.
Step 7: To stop recording the iPhone screen, you can press the Stop button in the upper right menu bar of the Mac.
Step 8: Save the screen recording by going to the File menu and selecting Save.
