How to use iPhone 6s keyboard as a trackpad with 3D Touch

3D Touch is a nice feature for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The new feature is widely known for its Peek and Pop function. You can use Peek and Pop to access Quick Action shortcuts and preview items like mail or camera without fully opening it. However, 3D Touch can do more than you think.

On the iPad, you can use the trackpad mode to move and edit text or letter. However, the trackpad mode is available on the iPad only. Luckily, Apple has added support for this exciting feature on the new iPhones. You now can use the feature with 3D Touch on your iPhone 6s or 6s Plus. Here is how you can do it

Step 1: Launch an app where you can use your keyboard. Some apps where you can type something include Messages, Mail app, Notes, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Step 2: Press and hold on your keyboard. Your keyboard will then switch to a trackpad, and you will access cursor.

Step 3: Swipe your finger around to move the cursor to navigate your text.

Step 4: Press harder if you want to select text, and move the cursor around to select more text.
