Huawei’s Honor 7i features a flipping camera

In Beijing today, Huawei unveiled a brand new and unique smartphone, the Honor 7i. Just like the the Oppo N series, the device features a flip camera so you do not need to compromise on the quality of your selfies. The camera has a 13 Megapixel sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, a 28mm wide angle lens and of course dual LED flash. Huawei is a big believer in selfies so while you are trying to get the perfect selfie the device adjust the brightness of the screen to brighten your photos.

Another unique feature of the device is the fingerprint scanner reader which is located of the left side of the smartphone and also works as a camera button for better left handed selfies.

The Honor 7i comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor, a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display, up to 3GB of RAM, up to 32GB of internal storage, a 3,100 mAh non-removable battery, dual-Nano SIM slots, which cone of the slots can also take a microSD card. The device will be available in either silver or gold.

The company has yet to reveal whether the device will be available worldwide, but the base model in China (with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage) costs  just 1,599 yuan which is around £160, whereas the top of the class model with 3GB RAM and  32GB of internal storage, goes for 1,899 yuan or about £190.
