Install iOS 10 beta 2 for iPhone/iPad/ iPod Touch  


Announced at WWDC 2016 event, iOS 10 is Apple’s latest update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices, bringing a number of new features to one of the most popular mobile platforms. The first beta of iOS received many positive comments from both users and developers. Yesterday, Apple continued to release the second beta of iOS 10.

iOS 10 beta 2 are now available to install on iPhone/iPad / iPpod Touch devices.

You want to experience the latest version of iOS, but you do not know how to install it on your devices. In this article, we will show you how to install iOS 10 beta 2 on iOS devices.

How to install iOS 10 beta 2

 There are two ways that you can try to install the latest iOS version: via OTA and via iTunes.

  1. Install via OTA

This is what you have to do:

  • On your iOS device, launch Safari browser, then open this link.
  • Download the profile for your device by tapping the Download Now button
  • If appearing “on which device would you like to install this profile?” notification, select your model: iPhone/iPad or iPod Touch.
  • Tap ‘Install’ button. After installing the profile, your device will reboot.


  • Once your device finishes rebooting, open Settings app, go to General > Software Update and you will find the iOS 10 Developer Beta 2
  • Just click Download and Install and waiting until the process is done.


  1. Install via iTunes

Step 1: To download iOS 10 beta, first you need to enroll into Apple Developer Program at you have already registered, skip  Step 2.

Step 2: Login Account section of Apple Developer Program, using your Apple ID:

Step 3: Now register your UDID with Apple for the iOS device you intend to install the beta. To find the UDID of the device, plug the device into iTunes, select it, and then click on the serial number for it to show the UDID. Copy the UDID number using ctrl+c on Windows, or command+c on Mac.


Step 4: From the main Account section, Click Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles.

Click on All, from Devices section found in the left panel.

From right panel, click +, then add the UDID of your iOS device.


Step 5: After the UDID has been added, go to the Resources > iOS > Download. You can find this page directly at

Select your device to download the iOS 10 beta 2 firmware.

Step 6: After downloading firmware iOS beta 2 for your device, open iTunes to install

Step 7: Before restoring, make sure you have installed the latest iTunes version  on your Windows PC or Mac. Connect your iOS device to the computer via a lightning cable


Step 8: Now to install the beta, for Mac, hold the Alt key, Windows is the Shift key, and then click on the Restore button. iTunes will prompt you to select the .IPSW file. Select iOS 10 beta 2 firmware you downloaded.

Step 9: iTunes installs iOS 10 beta on your iPhone/iPad/ iPod touch. This could take 20-25 minutes depending on the speed of your computer and the model of your device. Once installed, the device will reboot automatically and Hello screen of iOS 10 beta 2 will appear.
