How to Install Safari on Windows PC

Before proceeding, you should know that even when it’s an older version, Safari for Windows is still available for the download. However, only developers are encouraged to use it since Safari is just an old version and it does not come with new features as well as secure as the newest build, which might be harmful to your privacy.

Back to the post, there are two ways to download and install Safari for your Windows PC:

  1. Install an unsupported version of Safari.
  2. Using a cross-browser tool.

Do not waste your time anymore, let’s see how to install Safari browser on your Windows PC.

Method 1: Download Safari.exe file

If you choose this method you will download the last unsupported version of Safari, so you might not have the latest features and security patches. You should only use this option if you are a developer and want to experience the old version of Safari. I do not recommend you to use it as the daily web browser for your Windows computer.  Once you remember that, let’s start following these steps below:

  • First, download the .exe file of Safari browser from this link. When clicking on it, it will automatically download the file on your computer.
  • Once done, simply double click on .exe file and click on Next button and follow the onscreen instruction to complete the installation process.
  • You will be prompted to set Safari as the default browser, and install Bonjour and update Safari. Uncheck three options and click on Next to continue.
  • Safari will be installed on your Windows PC and you will see a desktop shortcut of this browser
  • Double click on the Safari icon to open the browser. If you want to test the speed, just visit a website from the address bar and hit Enter.

If you see the Safari browser work properly, it means you have successfully installed Safari on your Windows PC.

Use Safari through Cross-Browser Tool

Cross-Browser is a great tool for those who want to experience Safari browser on a Windows computer without installing it on your device. With this tool, you can easily use the latest version of the Safari browser. To use it:

  1. VisitExperitest’s Cross-Browsertool website through a browser on your computer.
  2. Click on Free trial button and you will be taken to the signup page to create an account
  3. Enter your phone number to receive OTP code for the signup as well as verify your phone number
  4. After verifying, you will be taken to the dashboard where you can check the devices that are suitable for testing.
  5. Click on “Browsers & Emulators” and check the available browsers.
  6. From there, choose the Safari browser and you can now surf the internet using Safari for 30 minutes. You can also use it longer, but you need to pay a fee for the Pro version.
