iPhone 7 to feature TSMC A10 chip

iPhone 7 to feature TSMC A10 chip

A new rumor suggests that the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) will supply 100% of Apple’s next A10 mobile chip. The new chip will power the upcoming iPhone 7.

We think that Apple’s decision to go with TSMC, is based on the problems of the current A9 chip. The current chip is made by TSMC and Samsung and that didn’t exactly work out. Multiple reports claim that Samsung’s processor gives less battery life in some stress tests. Apple denied any noticeable difference between different versions of the A9.

This is just a rumor and we can say that it is way too soon to really know anything about next year’s iPhone.
