Next Apple TV to launch in October for $199 or $149

Apple’s next generation Apple TV is expected to be released in October with a a price tag of $149 or $199 ( about £96 or £129)

The report also suggests that Apple will continue selling the current generation TV for just $69 (about £45) as an entry-level device, but it is not expected to support the upcoming App Store or Siri integration.

Apple’s long-rumored streaming TV service is expected to arrive as soon as next yea through a software update for both the current generation and fourth-generation Apple TV. The TV service is expected to deliver a package of about 25 channels and set you back around $40 per month.

The upcoming TV is expected to arrive  with a faster dual-core A8 processor, an App Store , Siri and HomeKit integration,  a new UI and a new remote control with a touchpad, motion sensors, and a microphone. We expect the device to be announced at Apple’s September 9th media event together with the all new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
