OnePlus Mini to fix the ‘imperfections’ of the OnePlus 2

OnePlus is rumored to be working on a cheaper device that could arrive as soon as next month. The new device will carry the name OnePlus Mini and will offer all high-end features that are missing from the OnePlus 2.

The Mini is expected to have expandable storage, Quick Charge 2.0, NFC and an IP67 water-resistant design. Despite all the extra features and technology, the new device could cost as little as $250.

The company is expected to make some sacrifices on the specs. The rumor suggest that the Mini will come with a MediaTek Helio X10 processor instead of a Snapdragon chip, 2GB of RAM, a 5-inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel shooter up front and a non-removable 3000mAh or 3100mAh battery. This is not a terrible list of specs, but is not the specs you will find in a high-end device either.

The leak suggests that the new smartphone is set to launch before the end of the year.
