Sony Xperia Z5 to feature a 23MP camera and fingerprint scanner

The all-new Sony Xperia Z5 might just be a few days away from its unveiling.

Sony is expected to launch the rumored device during the IFA press conference in Berlin. New photos of the device have leaked revealing some key features of the upcoming flagship. The Xperia Blog shared three images of the upcoming Xperia Z5 on Friday.

The first pictures shows a device covered in water, suggesting that the Z5 will have a waterproof design. The second picture reveals a 23-megapixel camera with a six-lens configuration while the last picture shows the back of the phone and it just confirms that the device will be available in green colour.

The device is rumored to arrive with a fingerprint scanner installed in the power button of the new Z5. Unfortunately, none of the -leaked- pictures show the phone’s power button which is expected to be halfway up on the side and a lot bigger than on previous models.

Alongside the Xperia Z5, Sony is expected to announce two more smartphones with very similar specs. The rumor suggests the announcement of the Xperia Z5 Compact and  Z5 Ultra ( or premium). The Z5 compact is expected to arrive with a 4.6 inch 720p display while the Z5 Ultra with 5.5 inch 4K display. The mid-range Z5 is expected to have a 5.2 inch 1080p display.  It is unclear whether Sony will announce all three devices at the IFA.
