Steps to locate new Microsoft Edge extensions on Windows 10
With Windows 10, Microsoft has introduced its brand new web browser called Microsoft Edge that replaces its classic Internet Explorer. Microsoft Edge comes with a lot of new features and changes when compared to its predecessor like Siri integration, Integrated Share Panel and much more.
With the release of Windows 10’s Anniversary Update, Microsoft Edge finally supports browser extensions. In reality, extension support is not a new concept, as it has existed for a while on other web browsers like Google Chrome and Firefox.
However, have you ever wondered where your extensions are located after you download them from Windows Store? If you are struggling to find your Microsoft Edge extensions, we are here to help. In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the steps to locate your new Microsoft Edge extensions.
Steps to find your new Microsoft Edge extensions on Windows 10
Step one: First and foremost, you are supposed to launch Microsoft Edge from your desktop, Start menu or taskbar
Step two: Once you are done, all you need to do is to click the three dots icon located in the top-right corner of the screen and click Extensions from the drop-down menu
Step three: Next up, you will find all of your installed extensions here. If you want to get more extensions, you simply need to click on Get Extensions from the Store
Step four: You will be taken to the Windows Store, so you simply need to select the extension you wish to download to your device and download it. Once the download is finished, your new extension will be listed here.
Once you are done, your extensions will automatically download and install updates via Windows Store if there are any updates available. Once the download process is finished, head back to Microsoft Edge and you will receive a pop-up asking if you want to enable extension. You simply need to tap on Turn it on.
