The Android Instagram Account is finally live now

If you have been struggling to look for the official Android Instagram account, stop looking around because it is finally here. Google has just announced that the Android Instagram Account  went live today. The Instagram account will serve as Google’s official communications and marketing tool, alongside Twitter and Facebook.

Google has uploaded a few posts on its Android Instagram Account. One of them is an image that is formed by six posts and it shows off all Android things you have been familiar with including Android mascot, the recently introduced Pixel phone, a Pixel C tablet, Android Wear devices and Android Pay. Apart from that, there are also older Android versions mentioned here such as jelly beans, lollipops, marshmallows, nougat and even KitKat. According to sources, Google seems to be hiding something inside the image. It may be a hidden message or Easter eggs about future Android releases.

2016 has been a big year for Google so far. The biggest search engine on Earth released its highly-anticipated Pixel and Pixel XL phones with premium design and high-end specs. The Pixel and Pixel XL are Google’s strategic plan to challenge other top-tier smartphones this year including Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge and Apple iPhone 7/ 7 Plus. Google Pixel and Pixel XL are among the most desired smartphones in the market thanks to its exclusive features ranging from Google Assistant to Pixel Launcher. Earlier this month, Google released a big update for its Gmail app for iOS, introducing a brand new look, improved performance and some new features. Yesterday, Google rolled out the update version 4.0 for its Play Newsstand  for the first time since 2014, which focuses on design changes.

The official Android Instagram account is the perfect channel for Google to communicate with its users along with Twitter and Instagram’s parent company Facebook. If you are one of those who frequently engage with your favorite brands on social media, make sure that you check out Android’s official Instagram account.
