You now can get Lyrics Support and more in Apple Music for Android

130Apple Music is one of the most popular music streaming services in the world. Basically, Apple’s music streaming service allows you to access millions of songs. Besides, Apple Music also features Beats 1 Radio and Connect, a blog platform that allows artists to share their videos or posts with their subscribers.

Last year, Apple made waves by announcing its music streaming service, Apple Music for Android, its most direct competitor, allowing users to rock out to the 30-million song catalog.  The Cupertino company today rolled out an update to its Music app for Android. The version 2.0 introduces a few additions to the software.

Accordingly, the new update includes an all-new design that adds clarity and simplicity to the app. One of the most noticeable additions to the software is its support for lyrics. Users now can view song lyrics and read along as the song plays. Besides, you can easily navigate your music and see the Downloaded music.

The new update also brings with some improvements to For You section. You now can get recommendations for your playlists and albums based on what kind of music you love. Besides, the new update allows you to tune in to Beats 1 and pick your own stations.

Apple Music was first introduced back in 2015 and is now available in over 100 countries worldwide. Apple’s music streaming services offers three-month free trial and charges $9.99 per month for individual plans. Apple Music now has more than 20 million paying subscribers.

Basically, Apple Music for Android keeps much of the same design from the iOS counterpart, while introducing a slight difference that matches with Android layout. Apple Music for Android lacks of voice control that allows you to control your music and queue up new songs.

Apple has begun rolling out updates for its Apple Music on Android starting today and you can get the update from the Google Play Store.
